Wants - Needs that are learned by a person.
Warranties & Service Contracts - Companies can
promote sales by adding a free or low-cost warranty or service contract.
Web Page - Information presented in a browser
window, i.e. Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator.
Wholesale salesperson - A person who sells
products to other parties for resale, use in the production of other
goods/services or operating an organization.
Wholesaling - Includes all the activities involved
in selling goods or ser vices to those who buy for resale or business use.
Word of Mouth - Any oral communication. In the
context of consumer behavior, this term refers to oral communication about
products with friends, family, and colleagues. Word of mouth is one of the
ways in which buzz is transmitted.
Word Processing - A type of computerized written
communication.

is showing “explosive” growth: It totaled 6.1 million in 2000 and will exceed
7.9 billion by the year 2025.
Worldwide Web - The Internet, providing
standardized formats so that the same file can be used on different machines
and operating systems without alteration.
