Unawareness Set - Is those brands
that a consumer cannot recall and in which do not take a part in the decision
making of the consumer.
Unconscious Need Level - The level at which people
do not know why they buy a product.
Undifferentiated Marketing - When
a firm decides to go after the largest part of the market with one offer and
marketing mix, trying to attract as many customers as possible.
Undifferentiated Selling - The process of applying
and designing selling strategies equally to all accounts.
Undirected Viewing - General exposure to info
where the viewer has no specific purpose in mind.
Uniform Commercial Code (UCC)
- Standardized set of guidelines protected by law that set down how business
transactions must be conducted.
Unit Cost - A small component price of a product’s
total cost.
Unseasoned - A
lease or note that has had few, if any, payments
made.
Unsecured Loan - A loan that is NOT backed by
collateral. Also called a signature loan.
Unsought Goods - Unsought goods are those the
consumer does not know about or does not normally think of buying, like smoke
detectors.
Unwholesome Demand - A state in which any demand
is felt to be excessive because of undesirable qualities associated with the
offer.
